The Fire
Prevention Division of the Frederick Firestone Fire
Protection District is headed up by the Fire Marshall.
The duties & responsibilities include:

Public Education

Elementary School Fire Prevention Programs

Community Services Programs: RE: First Aid, CPR,
Fire Safety Classes, Station Tours, and Home Safety
Inspections

Overseeing the work with the Junior Firesetter
Program

Annual Fire Safety Inspections of all commercial
properties within the Frederick Firestone Fire
Protection District

Issuing of Fire Permits for new construction
-
Maintain and update data base for tracking all
inspections and fire permits

Review current Fire Codes for changes and updates
-
Work
directly with the Town Administration on Fire Code
related issues
