Frederick-Firestone Fire crews started operating out of the new station in early May. Currently, the station houses one crew that cross-staffs an ambulance and a fire engine.
During the ceremony Frederick-Firestone Fire District’s Fire Chief Jeremy Young spoke about the District’s new slogan, “Leading Together, By Serving Together” as the District continues to work closely with the Towns of Frederick and Firestone to offer the best possible emergency services to the towns and its residents.
“Service has always been our number one core value, it is the foundation on which FrederickFirestone Fire District is built, but we can expand the action of serving by increasing its capacity,” said Fire Chief Young. “We can increase the capacity of service by simply all serving together as one united team, we then will become unstoppable.”
The Frederick-Firestone Fire District is planning a Community Open House for residents in late August 2019.
