The Frederick-Firestone Fire District (FFFD) responded to a residential structure fire Friday morning at 11:23 a.m. at 6871 Summerset Ave. in Firestone.
Upon arrival fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire. One minor was transported as a precaution for observation. Crews also found an adult in the residence who was deceased.
FFFD fire investigators, in conjunction with the Firestone Police Department, are conducting the investigation. There are no other details at this time.
