Community Outreach is responsible for a variety of community/public relations duties, including writing and developing marketing communications materials such as:

• Articles
• Brochures
• Display boards
• Electronic presentations
• Fliers
• Media/press releases
• Newsletters
• Posters
• Website

Additional Responsibilities

• Assists in community preparedness event and training planning
• Assists with the maintenance of the Fire District website, social media outlets, and media interactions
• Plans public information strategies
• Develops feedback strategies
• Does information dissemination to notify citizens and other stakeholders of the Fire District’s activities and information
• Community CPR Program
• School & business presentations, including fire and EMS prevention
